“My conscience is not for SALE"
The feud between Aaliya Siddiqui and Nawazuddin Siddiqui continues to escalate as the actor’s estranged wife has released a recorded phone conversation between the pair.
Within a short amount of time, Nawazuddin’s personal life has turned upside down after Aaliya’s allegations against the actor and his family.
Aaliya who changed her name back to Anjana Anand Kishor Pandey has candidly spoken to media about her bitter past.
She has even called out her husband, his brother and family on social media.
Recently, the Sacred Games actor responded to his estranged wife’s accusations with a legal notice.
It cites the subject to wilfully engage in fraud, devised slander as well as character defamation.
According to the Times of India, the notice stated that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had responded to Aaliya’s divorce notice on May 19, 2020.
If this is believed to be true, the reply was within the required period of fifteen days.
However, previously Aaliya claimed that she had not received a response from the actor.
Aaliya further stated that Nawazuddin no longer sent her the agreed monthly allowance for their children.
As a result of this, she was forced to sell her car to pay for their children’s school fees.
However, in Nawazuddin’s notice, it was stated that the actor has been paying for their children’s education and expenses.
Despite the alleged financial hardship, Aaliya has refused to stop her legal battle against her husband.
The actor’s lawyer, Adnan Shaikh stated:
“EMI is still being paid by my client. Other children related expenses too.”
“Divorce notice was replied to but again, she has stated the contrary, in order to defame through this well-thought slander campaign.”
Following these allegations, Aaliya has threatened to reveal Nawazuddin’s true colours in court.
She recorded and leaked their phone conversation on her Twitter account. She wrote:
“My conscience is not for SALE nor am I scared of false defamation cases @Nawazuddin_S.
“U can go to any extent to save @ShamasSiddiqui who harassed me right under your nose. I don’t care.
“CDR matter & stalking is just a small example. I will show ur true face to the COURT SOON.”
In the clip of the recorded conversation shared online, we can hear Aaliya questioning Nawazuddin about the defamation case against her.
She also asks him to what extent he would go to save his brother Shamas Siddiqui.
Despite Nawazuddin asking his estranged wife to calm down, he mentions considering the defamation case and seeing her in court.
