“Have some shame, how much will you fall for money?"
Minal Khan recently took to Instagram to announce that she was expecting her first child with her husband Ahsan Mohsin Ikram.
She announced the news with a photoshoot.
Dressed in a black sleeveless dress and lovingly cradling her bump, Minal is seen in a range of black and white photographs, one in which her husband rests his head on her shoulder.
Another photo captures the couple looking down at the baby bump, both making a heart sign with their hands.
A third photo shows Minal holding Ahsan’s hand as he plants a kiss on her forehead.
Minal captioned the photos:
“Two hearts becoming three – the countdown to our little miracle has begun.”
Their announcement was met with many messages of congratulations as fans and fellow members of the entertainment industry rushed to comment on her post.
Srha Asghar wrote: “Many congratulations!”
Arisha Razi Khan commented: “Many many congratulations to both of you!”
Although the news is one of happiness, some expressed their disappointment over such photographs being shared with the world.
Social media users claimed that the pictures should remain private and accused Minal of being shameless for flaunting her pregnant figure.
One person said: “Shameless. Her husband is more shameless than her who is posing with her.”
Another comment read: “Have some shame, how much will you fall for money? There is a line for shamelessness, and you have crossed it.”
One fan compared Minal to sister Aiman and pointed out that she never posted such images when she was pregnant, and that’s why she was the most loved twin.
However, one fan requested that people stop spreading negativity in what should be a happy post.
The comment read: “Please stop spreading negativity on her post. If you don’t like it, unfollow and ignore. No need to spew hatred on her happy post.
“She will go to her own grave and you will not join her there.”
“Her life, her decisions.”
The pregnancy announcement was also announced by the magazine Hello Pakistan.
Sharing the image on Instagram the caption read:
