The youngest recipient of the honourable Nobel Prize, Malala Yousafzai attended the ‘Caring for Women’ gala in New York, dining with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Nicole Kidman and Julia Garner.

Also in attendance was Kim Kardashian.

It is the second annual dinner and was presented by the Kering Foundation, which is a leading foundation in its attempt to overcome violence against women and girls.

The ‘Caring for Women’ gala was organised in order to assist in raising funds for three organisations such as the Malala Fund, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault.

Malala attended the gala dinner with her husband Asser Malik.

She stunned spectators as she was photographed in a dark green custom-made Bottega Veneta dress, and styled by celebrity stylist Dena Neustadter.

The floor-length silk gown harboured a subtle sheen, gold button details on the sleeves, and pleats on the bottom half of the outfit.

The look was completed with knee-length boots and a clutch bag.

Malala opted for soft waves, light makeup and no jewellery, apart from a gold statement ring in order to give the vibe of a clean, minimal and elegant look for the event.

Staying true to her preference for modest fashion wear, Malala elegantly draped a matching scarf on her head, ensuring her hairstyle was still visible to onlookers.

As she posed with Oprah, Kering chairman and CEO Francois-Henri Pinault and his Hollywood icon wife Salma Hayek, Malala expressed her gratitude at being asked to co-host the event.

The activist wrote: “I was beyond grateful to co-host the @KeringFoundation’s annual Caring for Women dinner last night.

“I want to express my sincerest thanks and congratulate Salma and Francois-Henri on celebrating 15 years of vital work to support women impacted by violence.

“It was humbling to be surrounded by such amazing women and to honour their contributions.”

She also revealed that sufficient funds were raised for her organisation which would help support women and girls to receive a safe education in Afghanistan.

The post was met with many appreciative comments from her followers for her work, and she was inundated with compliments for her look.

One fan commented: “You look absolutely stunning and so proud of you for all that you do.”

Another wrote: “Look at how beautiful you are, you are STUNNING! A complete superhero!”

Other individuals thanked Malala for all her hard work within her organisation.

Although Malala was a guest at the event as a representative of Bottega Veneta, she also promoted her charity, Malala Fund which supports women’s rights and access to education.
