Recently, Laiba Khurram was featured on the Non-Stop Podcast, hosted by Kanwal Aftab and Jalal Karim.
During the podcast, she indirectly addressed a well-known actress, Laiba Khan.
Laiba Khan had previously criticised social media personalities, especially TikTokers.
She had said: “A person who does not make any content, no singing or acting, no talent, only a TikToker that is lip-syncing to sounds. There is no content in that.”
Hitting out at the actress, former TikToker Laiba Khurram said:
“There is a female actor who gave an interview, and she was bashing TikTokers.”
Laiba Khurram said that everyone is working hard to earn money. The host revealed that Laiba Khan herself is using TikTok now.
Expressing gratitude, Laiba Khurram stated: “I appreciate being a TikTok star; TikTok provided me with recognition, bringing me into mainstream acting.
“Soon, I’ll be taking on the lead role in a drama.
“Similarly, Kanwal is a TikToker with a background in hosting; she’s incredibly hardworking.
“TikTokers have remarkable talents. I didn’t like a single thing about the actress who bashed TikTokers for no reason.
“I won’t mention the name, as it can create issues, but this individual criticised all social media influencers, labelling them as cringe and implying they contribute nothing while hogging the spotlight.
“I have only seen her in a few dramas. If people are putting in effort and earning their success, there’s no reason for someone else to be upset.
“Alhamdulillah, our generation, Gen-Z is working hard to earn both a living and recognition.”
