In an interesting turn of events, Kiara Advani has joined Don 3.
She will feature opposite Ranveer Singh in the film.
On February 19, 2024, the makers teased fans with news of a big announcement about Don 3.
Fans predicted the confirmation of the leading lady with some even mentioning Kiara Advani.
Kiara takes over the role of the female lead from Priyanka Chopra Jonas who played Roma Bhagat in the previous two films.
Writing on X, the actress expressed her excitement at joining the cast.
She said: “Thrilled to be part of the iconic Don franchise and to be working with this incredible team!
“Seeking all your love and support as we set out on this exciting journey together.”

Don 3 will be directed by Farhan Akhtar, who also helmed the first two instalments – Don: The Chase Begins Again (2006) and Don 2: The Chase Continues (2011).
The series, in turn, was a reboot of the 1978 classic Don, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman in lead roles.
The first two films of Farhan’s hit franchise saw Shah Rukh Khan essay the role of Don – an anti-hero who is wanted by the police but cleverly evades the law in a chain of thrilling twists and turns.
On August 9, 2023, Farhan announced that Ranveer Singh would play the titular character in Don 3.
A day prior, Farhan wrote on X:
“In 1978, a character created by Salim-Javed and portrayed by Mr Amitabh Bachchan with effortless elan captured the imagination of theatregoers across the country. That enigmatic character was Don.
“In 2006, Don was reimagined and brought to life by Shah Rukh Khan in its own irresistibly charming way.
“From Don’s sardonic wit to his cool and menacing fury, Shah Rukh embodied his persona.”
“As writer and director, I had a great time creating not one but two Don films with Shah Rukh and both experiences remain very close to my heart.
“The time has now come to take the legacy of Don forward and joining us in this new interpretation will be an actor whose talent and versatility I have long admired.
“We hope that you will show him the love you have so graciously and generously shown to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

With her striking talent and effervescent onscreen charm, Kiara Advani seems like the perfect casting for the leading lady in Don 3.
The film is scheduled to be released in 2025.
Meanwhile, the actress was last seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha. Along with Don 3, she also has the Telegu film Game Changer lined up.
Kiara Advani will also star in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
