DESIblitz has selected the super sexy Katrina Kaif, a very popular Bollywood star, for this special feature.

Katrina Kaif is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Bollywood, Telugu and Malayalam films.

Born on July 16, 1984 Katrina Kaif is one of eight siblings, all girls, from a mother who is a Caucasian of British Nationality, and a father who was formerly from Kashmir, India, but who has since acquired British citizenship.

Katrina grew up in Hawaii but was brought up in London, UK. She started modeling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the tender age of 14, when she was approached for a jewellery campaign.

Kaif started modelling for the jewellery campaign in London, and was subsequently discovered by filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who gave her a part in his film Boom (2003).

She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modelling assignments. However, filmmakers were at first hesitant to sign her because of her linguistic shortcomings, such as her inability to speak Hindi. Films that did feature her usually had her voice dubbed over by a native speaker of the film’s language.

Katrina has since focused on her language skills and is working on improving her Hindi and therefore, getting more film offers with directors believing in her and giving her the chance to show her acting ability along with her beauty.

Personal life for Katrina has included a much publicised romance with actor Salman Khan. As an example of her popularity, Katrina was the most downloaded wallpaper for mobile phones in India. Read the related story below for more on this.
