The beauty of Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan is unprecedented in their lehengas they wore for Diwali.
The festival of light was celebrated on October 27, 2019, and Bollywood stars stepped out in glamorous ensembles.
Yet, it was Katrina and Kareena that caught everyone’s attention.
Katrina Kaif is a fashion guru, her sense of style from casual wear to red carpet glamour is simply stunning.
The actress proved the festivity of Diwali was no different as she wore a lavish red ensemble by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
The lehenga comprised of a voluminous red skirt with contrasting gold embellishment at the hem.
This was matched by the blouse which entailed a gold design around the neckline and at the hem of the long sleeves.
Carrying on with the classical red theme, the dupatta consisted of gold zari embroidery along the border.
The gold thread work flower design scattered on the dupatta complete with tassels enhances the splendour of the scarf.
Katrina’s hair and makeup were done by Daniel Bauer. The look he created matched her lehenga perfectly.
For her makeup, Katrina has a soft dewy base, smoky eyeshadow and a subtle rose tint to her cheeks.
Usually Katrina sports a nude or pink lip, however, for Diwali she went bold with a bright red lip. This added to the beauty of her red outfit.
Her hairstyle was kept simple with a side parting and sleek straight hair flowing down her shoulders.
To complete the look, Katrina opted for gorgeous gold earrings which matched the embroidery in her outfit.
The inclusion of a red bindi was a perfect touch to finish off her traditional attire. Katrina Kaif was certainly a vision in red with her traditional statement look.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan looked stunning in a creation by Good Earth India’s Sidhu collection.
This paanch-phool siyahi print gajji silk lehenga was paired with a customary silk blouse.
The blouse entailed a plunging V-shaped neckline accentuated the tilla and kacchi taar adornment. This further enhanced the embroidered peacock motifs.
Kareena draped a blue silk dupatta featuring gotta patti and zardozi design across her shoulders.
To accessorise her look, Kareena chose jewellery from Shri Ram Hari Ram Jewellers.
The alluring stone-studded necklace and earring set complemented her attire adding a traditional touch.
Kareena’s makeup look was created by Pompy Hans. The actress was seen sporting smoky eyeliner with shimmery gold eyelids and a nude pink lip.
To finish off the look, Kareena chose to wear her hair in loose waves tussled to the side with a black bindi.
There is no denying Kareena Kapoor looked exquisite and it came as no surprise that this called for a Diwali photoshoot.
Kareena posed with her husband Saif Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan. Fans were delighted to see this family portrait.
Saif and Taimur wore outfits designed by Raghavendra Rathore and the trio looked as elegant as ever.
