he and his guards were seen brandishing automatic weapons
Pakistani TikToker Kashif Zameer was arrested in Lahore on July 2, 2025, alongside 13 guards for publicly displaying firearms.
The arrest comes amidst heightened security for Muharram.
The Crime Control Department (CCD) of Lahore Police carried out the arrest in Iqbal Town.
There, weapons were recovered from Zameer and his entourage.
Police have confirmed multiple cases have been registered at the CCD police station following the operation.
Videos were circulating online in which he and his guards were seen brandishing automatic weapons openly.
The footage drew widespread attention and concern, especially given the current security climate in Punjab.
The provincial government has enforced Section 144 from June 27 to July 6, in light of Muharram-ul-Haram.
There will be strict prohibitions on the public display of arms and flammable items. Violators will face immediate legal consequences.
Zameer’s recent actions directly violated this order, prompting a swift police response.
This isn’t the first time Kashif Zameer has faced legal trouble.
Known for flaunting wealth and engaging in controversies, he has previously been arrested in fraud and impersonation cases.
His frequent brushes with the law have only added to his notoriety in the digital world.
In April 2025, Lahore police also booked him and a serving constable for mocking the police uniform at a wedding function.
A video from the event showed Zameer presenting a cash-filled tray to the officer and throwing money on him in front of guests.
The act, filmed and shared on social media, led to outrage within the police department.
FIRs were registered under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and other laws.
It was seen as an attempt to degrade the image and dignity of the force.
Despite his massive following on TikTok and flashy online persona, Zameer’s legal troubles continue to grow.
He is often seen flanked by armed guards and driving luxury vehicles, which many allege are more for show than security.
Officials say investigations into the latest incident are ongoing, and further legal action is expected if additional violations surface.
The police have reiterated that the law applies equally to everyone, regardless of fame or influence.
Kashif Zameer remains in custody as authorities process the recent charges. No official statement has been issued from his legal team or family.
