"it will be the mommy to do the honours"
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have now made a special plan to introduce their new child.
The Bollywood couple welcomed their second son on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
They already raise four-year-old Taimur Ali Khan together.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the youngest member of the Bollywood power family since his birth.
Now, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have announced how they plan to introduce the little one to the world – via social media.
The pair introduced Taimur amid a media frenzy.
However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Kareena and Saif have planned a lower-key introduction.
According to a recent report, the proud parents will present their son to the world via Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Instagram.
A source said:
“When it happens, it will be the mommy to do the honours this time since she is active on Instagram and has all her fans, media and family following her there.”
The source also added that the couple’s decision is based on the safety of their immediate and extended family amid the current pandemic.
Saif Ali Khan has been taking special precautions since his son’s arrival to keep the virus at bay.
The couple have had little contact with anybody since the baby’s birth.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Instagram has already seen action since her son’s arrival.
However, she is still keeping quiet about the details of her newborn.
Instead, Kareena’s most recent Instagram post refers to Saif Ali Khan.
The Bollywood actress shared a new poster of her husband’s upcoming film Bhoot Police. The post came on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
The caption reads:
“Get ready to scream with laughter! #BhootPolice arrives on 10th Sept. #NewNormalIsParanormal #SaifAliKhan.”
Despite Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s decision to keep their baby’s introduction low-key, Saif announced the child’s birth in a statement to the press.
On Sunday, February 21, 2021, he said:
“We have been blessed with a baby boy. Mom and baby are safe and healthy.”
“Thank you to our well wishers for their love and support.”
Kareena’s father, Randhir Kapoor, also shared the news of his grandson’s arrival.
He said:
“She has delivered a baby boy in the morning around 9am. I’ll be visiting them soon.”
It appears that fans will have to wait a while longer for a peek at the Bollywood couple’s new baby.
The child’s name is also yet to be announced.
