Netizens come across Aishwarya Rai Lookalike

A Pakistani blogger has attracted a lot of social media attention because she bears an uncanny resemblance to Bollywood megastar Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Aamna Imran is the lookalike and she regularly posts pictures on Instagram.

However, her posts have attracted attention as netizens say she looks exactly like Aishwarya, especially when it comes to her eyes.

Side-by-side photos of the two women have been shared on social media and fans were quick to respond.

One person said: “For a sec I thought it was Aishwarya Rai.”

Another said: “Copy of Aishwarya Rai any way looks beautiful.”

A third said: “Omg my eyes can’t believe that there is another beauty queen on the earth.”

However, some people claimed that Aamna had undergone plastic surgery in order to achieve the look.

One person said: “With plastic surgery, she has tried really hard to look like Aishwarya Rai.”

Aamna noticed the attention she received and thanked her social media followers while dismissing claims she had plastic surgery.

She said: “THANK YOU! Humbled. Thankful to all of you for the love, positivity and kindness!

“Blessed and no surgeries (negativity belongs behind me). Much love to all!”

The lookalike also seems to be taking advantage of her newfound fame as she has been reposting media reports about her resemblance to Aishwarya.

She also thanked them for taking the time to write a feature about her.

Aamna is regularly on Instagram and loves to create Aishwarya’s looks from her films.

Some videos include her reenacting scenes from the likes of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Devdas and Mohabbatein.

In one post, she is seen posing while the song ‘Dil Dooba’ from Aishwarya’s film Khakee plays in the background.

In another post, Aamna is seen looking exactly like the Bollywood star in a white outfit.

Following her overnight fame, Aamna’s pictures are breaking the internet and has been trending on Twitter.

Aamna is not the only woman to bear a resemblance to Aishwarya.

Models and TikTok stars like Manasi Naik, Mahlagha Jaberi and Ammuzz Amrutha are all said to be Aishwarya Rai doppelgängers.

In 2020, Amrutha had gone viral on TikTok for recreating Aishwarya’s iconic looks.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the 2018 film Fanney Khan.

She will next be seen in Ponniyin Selvan, teaming up again with Mani Ratnam.
