Now the popular comedian and his new wife are set to hold another reception.

TV comedy star Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath will be hosting another wedding reception in Delhi on Saturday, February 2, 2019, and it is rumoured that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending.

The two tied the knot on December 12, 2018, in Jalandhar and there were several high-profile guests in attendance including Punjabi music icon Gurdas Maan, who also performed some of his most memorable hits.

Kapil and Ginni threw a lavish wedding bash in Amritsar for their close friends and family following their stunning wedding.

On Christmas Eve, the couple held another wedding reception party at a luxury hotel in Andheri, Mumbai. This was an event for the stars of Bollywood and television.

All the top stars attended the event including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar and many others.

Now the popular comedian and his new wife are set to hold another reception and this time it takes place in Delhi. The celebration takes place on February 2, 2019, and it begins at 8 pm.

It has been reported that the reception will be hosted for their bureaucratic and politician friends. This includes Prime Minister Modi who is set to be the chief guest.

The creator of The Kapil Sharma Show met PM Modi during a recent industry meet and at one point tweeted:

“I am paying Rs. 15 crore income tax from last 5 years n still I have to pay Rs. 5 lakh bribe to BMC office for making my office.”

Sharma tagged the Prime Minister in the tweet but later apologised for it on his show during a conversation with Rajkumar Rao.

It may not be much of a surprise if Modi attends the event as he has great admiration for the comedian when he is away from TV.

Kapil has been known for his efforts in promoting and campaigning for animal rights which includes campaigning to save tortured elephants across the country.

Upon recognising his efforts, Modi nominated Sharma for the prestigious Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

On the work front, Kapil is back with the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show. Guests include Sara Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sonam Kapoor and Salman Khan.

While there are strong rumours that PM Modi will be attending Kapil and Ginni’s third wedding reception, even if he doesn’t it promises to be a memorable celebration.
