"shame on you for traumatising your kid"
TikToker Kanwal Aftab and her husband Zulqarnain Sikandar are facing backlash for “traumatising” their child in a prank video.
On social media, the couple have garnered a substantial following on social media platforms.
This contributes to their status as notable figures in the Pakistani online community. They have a daughter together named Aizal.
However, they came under fire for their prank video.
In the video, the couple pretended to fight in front of their young daughter.
It began with the couple raising their voices, prompting an immediate shock on the child’s face. Her parents’ escalating dispute visibly heightened her distress.
The tension intensified as Zulqarnain theatrically pretended to throw a punch at Kanwal while vocalising his anger.
He pretended to ‘beat her’.
Kanwal, in turn, responded with apparent anguish, mimicking injury while screaming.
The staged confrontation continued with Zulqarnain persistently swinging at her, and Kanwal kept faking cries and distress.
Throughout this dramatic performance, their young daughter, unable to comprehend the situation, was visibly distressed.
She started crying in response to her parents’ disturbing behaviour.
The scene took a turn as, upon witnessing their daughter’s tears, the couple shifted from the staged confrontation to laughter.
They proceeded to console their child, revealing the staged nature of the incident.
Although the video was created for entertainment purposes, the content sparked a discussion.

People are discussing the potential impact of such content on young audiences and the responsibility associated with creating such videos.
Many were infuriated by the couple’s stunt and how it affected their daughter.
One user said: “Kanwal and Zulqarnain shame on you for traumatising your kid for the sake of content, likes and subscribers.”
Another said: “Sick parents, torturing their child for a few likes.”
One wrote:
“The baby has more humanity than her parents. At least she cares for her loved one, unlike them.”
Another commented: “Shameless people, doing anything and everything for money.”
Many claim that the couple is undeserving of being parents. They labelled them “cheap” and “Illiterate”.
One said: “Some people don’t deserve children.”
Another commented: “How could anyone put their child through so much!”
One wrote: “I am a child psychologist, this will have very damaging effects on her brain development.”
Kanwal Aftab and Zulqarnain have yet to respond to the backlash they are receiving on this video.
