The trailer for Netflix’s Do Patti has just been released, generating excitement for this suspenseful mystery drama starring Kajol and Kriti Sanon.
Set in a remote hill town, the thriller weaves a tale of deception, romance, and sibling rivalry. The film is written by Kanika Dhillon.
Kajol plays Vidya Jyothi, a police officer tasked with solving a complex case involving twins.
The twins, Saumya and Shailee, are both portrayed by Kriti Sanon.
As the story unfolds in the fictional town of Devipur, Vidya navigates a tangled web of lies surrounding Saumya.
She has a troubled marriage to Dhruv Sood (Shaheer Sheikh).
The trailer opens with a gripping interrogation scene, suggesting deeper secrets, including Shailee’s attempts to seduce her sister’s husband.
The attempt leads to Dhruv being accused of murder, and there is a clip of him behind bars.

This film marks a significant moment for Kriti Sanon, who is taking on her first dual role.
Moreover, she is also co-producing the film through Kathha Pictures.
Kriti described the project as her “baby” and expressed her emotional connection to its themes.
In her statement, Kriti shared: “Do Patti is incredibly special to me, not just because it’s my first film as a producer, but also because it allowed me to explore my own duality on-screen.
“This film has been like my baby. Kanika and I have nurtured it from the start, especially in our capacity as producers, and it’s truly fulfilling to see this journey through with Netflix.
“Do Patti also has a poignant message woven in which is the reason why I chose to produce this film as my first, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.”
Kajol added: “As an actor, I have always looked forward to roles that allow me to connect with my audience.
“This being the first time I play a police officer, I can’t wait for my fans to see me in this new avatar.
“Bringing this powerful story to life has been rewarding.”
Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, Do Patti is also a reunion for Kajol and Kriti Sanon, who previously worked together in Dilwale (2015).
The trailer for the film has currently amassed over 10 million views on YouTube.
