Jilted Pakistani Woman cuts Groom’s Genitals before Wedding

A police case has been registered against a Pakistani woman after she cut her lover’s genitals a day before his wedding.

The wedding was set to take place in the city of Jaranwala, in Punjab’s Faisalabad district.

It was reported that the woman had been spurned by the groom so she decided to take revenge. The pair had been lovers but he had a marriage arranged to someone else.

When the woman found out, she was enraged.

The woman was identified as Mudassir Bibi while the man was named as Faisal Shahzad.

Faisal had been working abroad but returned to his home city on January 26, 2020, to tie the knot.

However, a day before his wedding, his lover had asked him to visit her one last time before he got married.

On January 30, Faisal went to her home where Mudassir grabbed a blade and knifed his genitals. Following the incident, Faisal was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

While Mudassir was responsible for attacking her former lover, her father filed a complaint against Faisal.

Akbar Amin registered a police case against Faisal, alleging that he tried to rape his daughter.

According to the complaint, Akbar claimed that his daughter was alone at home when Faisal broke in.

He then approached the Pakistani woman and allegedly tried to force himself onto her.

He went on to say that Faisal had a knife to threaten his daughter.

Akbar alleged that Mudassir was able to grab the weapon off Faisal and subsequently cut his private parts in self-defence.

Meanwhile, Faisal’s brother Amir Sohail filed a separate case against five people including Mudassir and her brother.

It was reported that Faisal was in love with Mudassir but his parents had arranged his marriage to another woman.

Faisal accepted the marriage arrangement which angered Mudassir when she found out.

Police told The Express Tribune that they believe she attacked Faisal as a measure of revenge for choosing another woman over her.

She planned her attack by convincing him to meet her one final time before his wedding.

When Mudassir managed to get him alone, the jilted woman grabbed a knife and cut his genitals.

Police have registered both statements and are continuing with their investigation in order to gather more information.

Mudassir’s unhappiness over Faisal’s upcoming decision had driven her to extreme measures.
