The first image reflected the Ishaan fans know well. Shirtless and confident, his toned frame and six-pack abs echoed his Netflix role in The Royals as Prince Aviraaj Singh.
That look reminded fans of the time he effortlessly carried a royal, muscular image on-screen.
Yet the real surprise arrived with the next slide, which showed his dramatic change.
In the second photo, Ishaan looked almost unrecognisable.
The bulk and definition had disappeared, leaving behind a lean frame and a face that reflected dedication to the role.
Capturing the journey, Ishaan wrote: “From Aviraaj to Shoaib in one slide – wish it were that simple in real life.”

According to director Neeraj Ghaywan, Ishaan lost between five and ten kilos to prepare.
His co-star Vishal Jethwa, who played Chandan Kumar, underwent a similar transformation.
Ghaywan explained that the weight loss was never about looking attractive on-screen.
Instead, it was about losing muscle to appear like ordinary village boys, not gym-toned men.
Their efforts contributed to the film’s authenticity, which critics have described as both raw and compelling.
