"You broke up with Ananya recently?"
Until last year, Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Pandey were reportedly in a relationship.
However, when Ananya began dating Aditya Roy Kapur, Ishaan also found love anew.
If recent reports are to be believed, Shahid’s younger brother is dating Malaysian model Chandni Bainz.
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Chandni Bainz is an aspiring actor who featured in the Singapore TV drama My Mother’s Story and the Malaysian TV series Ghaib.
Post-pandemic, Chandni shifted to India and signed with a modelling agency.
Bombay Times reports its source as saying: “They are quite serious about each other.
“He has even introduced Chandni to his close circle of friends.”
The portal revealed that the duo started dating earlier this year and the mystery girl Ishaan was recently spotted riding with, was indeed Chandni.
Ishaan was earlier rumoured to have been dating Ananya Panday with whom he starred in Khali Peeli.
E-times reported: “The breakup happened when he was shooting for Pippa and he was quite affected by it.”
Ishaan Khatter opened up about his breakup with Ananya Panday on Koffee With Karan 7.
The actor, who was joined by his Phone Bhoot co-stars Katrina Kaif and Siddhant Chaturvedi on the episode, was asked about his relationship status when Karan Johar mentioned his breakup with Ananya.
“You broke up with Ananya recently?” Karan asked Ishaan, hoping to get more details on it.
However, Ishaan turned the tables and asked him instead, “Did I? Because you said she broke up with me recently.”
Karan was taken by surprise. Ishaan added that he had seen the episode featuring Ananya, in which she was seen with Vijay Deverakonda, and said, “You were rather mean to her.”
Defending himself, Karan Johar said, “No, I meant like both of them. A breakup is always mutual, right?”
When the group began discussing if a breakup is ‘always’ mutual, Karan brought the topic back to Ishaan and asked him if she had broken up with him or if he had broken up with her.
“How does it matter who broke up with whom?” Ishaan asked.
Talking about the relationship advice he got from his half-brother Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan revealed he learnt how to not lose oneself in the process.
Speaking to Good Times, Ishaan shared: “Well, my bro has told me not to lose myself in a relationship; to always know who I am.”
On the work front, Ishaan Khatter will be next seen in Pippa.
He will also be seen in the miniseries The Perfect Couple alongside Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning and Eve Hewson.
