The Ambani family were spotted in Paris for the Olympics just weeks after hosting a grand wedding for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
Nita and Mukesh Ambani attended the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics in the French capital.
Despite the rain, they were seen in the audience wearing ponchos and posing together with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
The family were also spotted watching some events.
Radhika sported a bright orange co-ord for the outing, while Anant semaphored his love of the natural world in a tropical-print shirt.
When they’re not engrossed in the thrilling sports, the Ambanis are reportedly enjoying some relaxation at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, near the Champs-Élysées.
Established in 1928, the hotel is renowned for its exceptional service, making it a long-time favourite among the elite.
Notable guests have included King Charles, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, John F Kennedy, and Pablo Picasso.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have also managed to visit India House in Paris, a temporary hospitality hub set up by the Ambani family’s Reliance Foundation to promote Indian culture during the Olympics.
The centre was opened by Nita, who has been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 2016.
At the official opening, she said: “Today we gather here at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 to open the doors to a dream.
“A dream that belongs to 1.4 billion Indians.
“A dream to bring India to the Olympics and our shared dream to bring the Olympics to India.”
During his visit to Paris, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani also visited Disneyland, where he was spotted with Pakistani politician Sharmila Faruqui.
He was photographed with his granddaughter in his arms as he posed with Faruqui and her family.
The Paris trip is part of the Ambani family’s European tour as post-wedding celebrations continue.
Nita Ambani was described by Radhika as “the CEO of the wedding”.
Party planner Preston Bailey agreed:
“I call her the genius of events.
“She is quite extraordinary when it comes to details. And this is a woman who is incredibly busy… She knows what works and doesn’t work.”
Nita has demonstrated her exceptional organisational skills over the past few months.
In the lead-up to Anant and Radhika’s wedding, she planned a lavish three-day pre-wedding party featuring a performance by Rihanna.
Following that, there was a luxurious cruise from Palermo to Portofino for 800 of the couple’s friends.
The wedding itself was a grand affair, showcasing couture gowns, flower sculptures, and opulent entertainment for 14,000 guests.
It is reported that she has been instrumental in planning the newlyweds’ honeymoon as well.
The family has reserved their historic property, Stoke Park, until September.
It is rumoured that they plan to host several more parties, with Boris Johnson and Prince Harry among the potential guests.
In the meantime, Anant and Radhika are expected to be jet-setting around Europe, attending major society events with their influential family in tow.
Whether they will appear at the Burghley Horse Trials or the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup is uncertain, but one thing is clear: wherever they go, an excellent party is sure to follow.
