“This is the girl who was my army marcher. You are my Kate Moss today.”

After nine weeks of intense training, 21-year-old Pranati Rai Prakash has won India’s Next Top Model Season 2.

Following in Season 1’s tradition, the three finalists walk the ramp at Lakmé Fashion Week.

Jantee, Pranati and Subhamita mark their presence at the biggest event on India’s fashion calendar, wearing fabulous designs by Payal Khandwala.

One by one, they sashay down the famous runway looking as fierce and elegant as a professional model.

None of them gives away any hint of nervousness of being the final three fighting for the coveted title. Clearly, the judges and mentors have done their job well!

At deliberation, it becomes obvious that Subhamita will not make it to final two, as the panel of judges point out her posture needs more work.

Bidding goodbye to Subhamita, the battle for the crown is now between Jantee and Pranati.

The panel is particularly impressed by Jantee’s ‘relaxed’ and ‘flawless’ performance.

Mentor Anusha Dandekar comments: “This is the girl who was my army marcher, my elephant stomper. You are my Kate Moss today.”

But Pranati, who has won Best Photo several times in the competition, earns an equally flattering compliment.

Judge Lisa Haydon says: “You blended in with the rest of the models, and you stood out in a good way. You walk like a professional.”

But there can only be one winner, and Lisa announces the title belongs to Pranati!

The Patna girl says: “Winning the title is a dream come true for me. My journey in INTM 2 has been very fruitful and enriching.

“I really want to thank everyone involved in the show for the constant guidance and support.”

Pranati has won a national ad campaign with Livon Serum and a digital campaign with ABOF.com.

In addition, she will feature in Cosmopolitan India magazine.

She also takes home a range of beautiful accessories by PC Jeweller, and a one-year modeling contract with Bling Entertainment Solutions.

Congratulations to Pranati and we cannot wait to see her continue to blossom into a supermodel!
