Indian Boyfriend kills Married Girlfriend in Hotel Room

An Indian boyfriend was arrested after he strangled his married lover to death inside a hotel room in Alipur, Delhi.

The accused has been identified as 21-year-old Vicky Mann while his girlfriend was named as Asha, aged 33.

The murder came to light on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at around 10:30 am when employees of the OYO Flagship hotel discovered Asha’s body lying on the bed.

They had been delivering breakfast but when they knocked on room 304, there was no answer.

Concerned staff members informed the hotel manager who opened the door with another key.

Asha was found with a bruise on the side of her face but the hotel workers thought that she was unconscious and contacted the police. Officers took Asha to the hospital but doctors declared her dead.

A murder investigation was launched and officers reviewed the CCTV of the hotel. They found that she had been at the hotel with Vicky.

It was revealed that Mann and Asha were lovers. They had got into contact on Facebook sometime in 2018 before meeting for the first time four months later.

The pair eventually began an affair. Vicky continued to see his lover even though he knew that she was married with two children.

They used to meet each other by booking a room at the OYO Flagship. After seizing hotel documents, officers found that they had previously booked a room on seven occasions.

Usually, the Indian boyfriend would meet Asha at the hotel at around 9 am and would leave at 11 pm.

Their regular visits meant that they knew the staff well. On November 11, 2019, Asha had booked the hotel and met her boyfriend to celebrate his birthday.

Inside the hotel room, the lovers drank alcohol and played loud music.

However, the birthday celebration took a turn as an argument between the pair led to Vicky slapping Asha.

After she fell onto the bed, Mann strangled his married girlfriend to death before fleeing the hotel.

A murder case was registered against Vicky and the investigation was led by SHO Sunil Kumar.

Officers managed to track down the suspect and arrest him. He later confessed to killing his lover and explained what happened.

Police have said that both of them were drunk and Vicky did not intend to kill Asha.

However, their row led to the suspect attacking the woman before killing her. SHO Kumar explained that the bruise on the victim’s face was caused by the slap.

He went on to say that investigations are continuing to find out what caused the argument and what was said that led Vicky to murder his girlfriend.
