"Get the f*** out of my country."
Actor Gurmeet Choudhary has strongly condemned a viral video showing an Indian couple facing a racist confrontation in the United States.
The video has been circulating widely on social media and has triggered a wave of outrage across platforms both in India and abroad.
In the clip, a man inside a car is seen asking an Indian couple if they are from India before turning instantly hostile after their response.
Once the couple confirmed their origin, the man aggressively told them to leave the country in a confrontation that left many viewers shaken.
The man is heard saying in the video: “No, we don’t want you here. You have to go home. Get the f*** out of my country.”
Despite the hostile and deeply offensive remarks directed at them, the Indian couple reportedly remained composed throughout the entire ugly exchange.
The exact location of the incident has not been independently verified, and the authenticity of the video has also not been confirmed.
When the Indian man in the clip was asked whether India was better than the United States, he offered a measured and fair response.
He told the man that both countries had their positives and noted that his family happened to be back home in India.
That calm and reasonable response was met not with dialogue but with the aggressive and xenophobic outburst that has since gone massively viral.
Gurmeet Choudhary took to Instagram to express his deep anger over the incident and to call out the normalisation of such racist behaviour.
He made clear that staying silent in the face of such conduct was no longer an option for Indians living and working anywhere in the world.
“Racism against Indians anywhere in the world cannot be normalised anymore.
“For years, many stayed silent, ignored the insults, and kept moving forward. But respect is not optional.”
He went further, emphasising the significant and well-documented contributions that Indians make to societies and economies around the entire globe.
“Indians contribute globally with hard work, talent, intelligence, and humanity.
“We deserve the same dignity and respect as anyone else.”
“This is not against any country or people; this is against racism.
“Enough silence. Stand for respect. Stand for humanity, please.”

Gurmeet’s message resonated widely and sparked a strong and varied wave of reactions from social media users who engaged with the post.
Many expressed full agreement and called for stronger action against racist targeting of Indians in the United States and other countries.
A user wrote: “Totally completely agree. Racism is not acceptable.
“We Indians also respect everyone across the world in India, so we should also be respected.
“This isn’t the thing that should be asked; it should be given.”
The incident has reignited urgent and necessary conversations about the treatment of Indian immigrants and professionals living in the United States.
Fans and fellow actors in the Indian entertainment industry have widely appreciated Gurmeet Choudhary’s willingness to speak out.
