"I just want to play a game without somebody crying"

After leaving The Traitors, Fozia revealed what it was like filming the BBC show.

Fozia became the latest contestant to exit The Traitors after a tense game of chance against Leon.

Traitors Linda and Minah appeared in their cloaks to ‘murder’ Fozia in the middle of the night.

However, the Faithful didn’t look impressed and quickly quipped that Linda “wouldn’t last” in the game.

Hitting back at Fozia after days of feuding between the pair, Linda shouted at her to “get over it” as she returned to the castle.

Before her dramatic ‘murder’, Fozia, Alexander, Leon and Anna were brought into the dark instead of back to their rooms to try and save themselves from murder by finding the ‘Life’ card out of a collection of ‘death’ cards.

On filming the deathmatch, Fozia admitted:

“For the deathmatch, we arrived to this cemetery and I’m freezing my t**s off, right?

“Already we’d played a challenge throughout the day so I’m ready for bed now.

“I’m sitting there playing the deathmatch. I’ve got Anna whinging.

“I just want to play a game without somebody crying because there was a lot of emotions in this series, wasn’t there?

“And I’m saying, ‘Oh, please, I just want to play one game and enjoy the game’.

“How lucky did I get? Twice? I got lucky twice with a life card.

“Was that me being too nice again and letting Anna off? I don’t know, and then again it was just a game of chance. It could have been any one of us. Or thinking back now in hindsight, could I have said I don’t want to go second?

“I could have gone last, like Alexander. So it could have played out to any one of us. I said it out loud when we got there, ‘Guys why us four? Clearly we’re a threat’.”

Fozia explained that the deathmatch was “intense” as it came down to her and Leon, with the latter eventually winning.

She said:

“I wasn’t ready to go home. You saw my face. What an ending!”

Although she didn’t want to leave The Traitors so early on, Fozia called her face-to-face murder an “epic scene”.

Fozia added: “Minah looked like death. Linda had a little cackle, didn’t she?

“She was enjoying every moment of it — and I thought, ‘Linda, you’re not getting the last laugh. I’ve got to get that last word in’.

“You heard me didn’t you? ‘Sleep tight, Linda’. They’re coming for you and I meant that.”
