"A letter from my heart to yours."

Farhan Saeed is preparing to release his first solo album, Khat, in November 2025.

After 21 years in the music industry, the singer is returning to his roots with a project he calls deeply personal.

Describing the album as “a letter from my heart to yours,” Saeed said Khat represents both reflection and rebirth.

The project, releasing on November 14,  2025, marks his grand return under Warner Music and Silent Roar’s global distribution network.

It features ten original tracks in Urdu and Punjabi, each designed as an emotional dialogue between Saeed and his listeners.

The confirmed setlist includes ‘Khat’, ‘Beparwah’, ‘Phul Ghulab Da’, ‘Manzar’, ‘Meri Maa’, ‘Ja vey mahiya’, ‘Ameer Ban Jaun’, ‘Tere Naal’, ‘Ye Kia Ho Gya’ and ‘Na Kar Majboor’.

Four of these songs will also receive full-length music videos, each directed by a different filmmaker to add creative diversity.

To announce the album, Saeed unveiled a stunning series of visuals created by artist Umair Fayyaz.

Each artwork appeared as a hand-painted sketch on canvas, designed to resemble pages from a personal notebook.

The concept mirrors the title Khat, symbolising a heartfelt letter sent from the artist to his audience.

Speaking to Variety, the former Jal frontman shared that the album is inspired by his fans’ unwavering love and connection.

“Music has always been something I’ve lived.”

“I’ve been fortunate that audiences have always understood and connected with how I express myself through my songs.”

He added that Khat represents his journey through love, loss, gratitude and rediscovery after two decades in the spotlight.

Farhan Saeed said that the album is more than a collection of songs; It is an emotional bridge connecting him to his supporters.

Since his early days with the band Jal, Saeed has grown into one of Pakistan’s most versatile artists and performers.

From the soulful ‘Thori Der’ to countless television soundtracks, he has consistently delivered songs that resonate deeply with audiences.

Now, with Khat, he seeks to expand his reach globally while maintaining a strong link to his linguistic and cultural roots.

Warner Music’s collaboration on the album signals a major step in Saeed’s evolving international career.

The blend of Urdu and Punjabi lyrics ensures Khat retains the authenticity of South Asian storytelling through modern production.

Farhan Saeed’s fans have eagerly awaited this album, viewing it as the next defining moment in his long musical journey.
