One of the current major storylines in the BBC’s EastEnders involves Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) finding herself pregnant.
In recent episodes, Avani discovered that she was carrying Joel Marshall’s (Max Murray) baby.
Avani was initially set on aborting the baby, but was dissuaded by her grandmother, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal).
When the teenager insisted she wasn’t ready to be a mother, Suki manipulated her into allowing her to raise the baby with her wife, Eve Panesar-Unwin (Heather Peace).
When Eve discovered Suki’s plan, she furiously confronted her but ultimately relented on the condition that Avani’s parents be informed of the plans.
However, in upcoming scenes of EastEnders, the outcome of the story will be revealed.
Avani will be seen struggling with morning sickness and will be caught by Suki and Eve when she almost drinks alcohol.
A row will lead Avani to confide in Eve, telling her that she wants a termination after all.
Prioritising Avani’s feelings, Eve will take a big risk in supporting Avani’s abortion behind Suki’s back.
Meanwhile, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) urges Suki to be honest with Avani’s parents, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy).
But Suki is unaware that Avani has had a termination, and it’s not long before this news spreads through the Square.
Things will only be further complicated when Joel discovers the truth and berates Avani for being kept in the dark.
His father’s partner, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), steps in to diffuse the situation.
Elsewhere, Ravi is seething when he discovers that Joel got his daughter pregnant.
Viewers know how protective Ravi is of Avani. In his attempts to protect her, he has previously dangled Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) from a bridge.
Ravi has also already had an altercation with Joel when he found out he had slept with Avani.
In the wake of the new discovery, Ravi will square up to the young man, forcing Priya to calm her former partner down.
While this turn of events will change things forever for the Panesar family, the main question is the marriage between Suki and Eve.
How will Suki react when she discovers that Eve helped Avani have an abortion behind her back?
Suki’s manipulation of Eve and Avani has made viewers turn against the character.

One viewer said: “Suki compared Eve to her abuser, Nish, in order to manipulate her?
“A child who doesn’t want to give birth will still have to see the baby every day.
“Her wife, who didn’t want children being told her choice doesn’t matter.
“And you people are STILL defending this?”
Another person said: “I never liked Suki as a character.
“People suddenly thought the sun shone out of her as soon as it was decided she was gay, and her vileness seemed to be forgotten.
“But what she’s doing to Avani and Eve now just shows how horrible she is.”
