"To more amazing powerful actors like you.”

Dur-e-Fishan Saleem has taken to Instagram to praise her co-star Mikaal Zulfiqar for his portrayal of Sherry in Jaisay Aapki Marzi.

“To more amazing powerful actors like you.”

Mikaal thanked Dur-e-Fishan for her heartfelt words and stated that he was also impressed with her work as Alizeh.

As Jaisay Aapki Marzi continues to entice its audience with its gripping storyline, Dur-e-Fishan shared an image of herself, adorned in jewellery and sporting a vacant expression in her eyes.

She wrote on Instagram that jewellery showed a sign of being owned by someone.

She elaborated on the caption by adding a note on mental abuse which read:

“Mental abuse – the invisible wound. No matter how independent or educated a woman is, she will always break while going through such circumstances.

“As Alizeh says, ‘I am slowly losing myself’. My favourite part of the story starts now.

“Biggest hug to all the love coming my way and to the critique – learning each day, we will get there slow and steady In’Sha’Allah.”

Kiran Malik, who played the manipulative Natasha, Sherry’s sister, also shared a picture on Instagram as the drama came to an end.

The photograph shows Kiran sitting between her on-screen father and brother, Javed Sheikh and Mikaal.

Kiran captioned the image: “As the final chapter of Natasha’s journey has unfolded, my heart overflows with immense gratitude for those who appreciated the effort I put in to embody her unique personality.

“This just marks the beginning of the many stories I am keen to bring to life on-screen.

“Eagerly looking forward to the moment I can once again immerse myself in the art of storytelling, sharing narratives that resonate with the truths people experience and grapple with every day.

“As an actor, this journey has taught me that sincerity and honesty in one’s craft and not in vain.

“The success of Natasha is a testament to this! I hope and anticipate the tales that lie ahead will also provide similar opportunities to connect, evoke emotions and weave stories that linger in the hearts of those who experience them.”
