As of now, Joe Biden has secured 264 electoral votes. He is only 6 votes away from winning the election.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump stands at 214 electoral votes. However, key states like Pennsylvania and Nevada are still unaccounted for.
This means the race for the White House is still wide open for both candidates.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Trump falsely told supporters that the Republican Party had won the election. He said:
“As far as I am concerned, we have won the election … we have won everything … they cannot chase us.”
However, Democratic candidate Joe Biden told his supporters to “keep the faith.”
