It has been two months since the release of Brahmastra on the silver screens. Now, fans are convinced that Deepika Padukone was part of the film.
The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva and Alia Bhatt, as Isha was released on September 9, 2022.
However, recently, a glimpse of Deepika Padukone has been going viral on social media.
In the picture, Amrita is seen holding baby Shiva in her hands.
After the movie was released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar, fans are convinced that Deepika played Amrita in the film.
Fans revealed that they watched the part in slow motion, and it clearly shows Deepika Padukone’s face.
One netizen shared a glimpse of Deepika in the film and wrote: “Deepika Padukone in and as Amrita in Brahmastra eagerly waiting for dev part 2.”
Another fan added: “Today, I watched Brahmastra for the second time. I hadn’t noticed Deepika Padukone before.”
“But this time, it was so evident that she is there in the film! She has to be there in the second part too.”
Another Twitter user said: “Not sure if anyone else did. But I just spotted @deepikapadukone in @BrahmastraFilm for a fraction of sec.
“So it’s no more a rumour #Deepika is playing the role of #shiva’s mother in Brahmastra.”
Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is the first instalment of a planned trilogy.

Earlier, when the movie was released in theatres, there were rumours that Deepika Padukone will play the role of Shiva’s mother Amrita after some fans claimed they spotted the actress’ face in the film.
However, after its release on OTT, all doubts are cleared.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, director Ayan Mukerji was asked about Deepika’s appearance in Brahmastra and her character actress in the second part.
However, Ayan said: “Do we have her in part one? I think you have imagined it.”
When shown a still from the film, Ayan said, “I think, it was on that particular screen. Also, the image is so dark, I can’t see the face of this actor.”
Brahmastra, produced by Karan Johar, became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
The film collected more than Rs 400 crores worldwide.
It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy in key roles.
