“Deport them all. Why are they working at the first point of entry"
A British woman divided opinion with her racist rant on X, where she accused Indian and Asian staff at Heathrow Airport of not speaking English.
Lucy White sparked outrage after claiming that most of the airport staff were of Indian or Asian origin and “not speaking a word of English”.
In her viral post, she wrote that she told the staff to “Speak English”, only to be told in response, “You’re being racist.”
White then doubled down: “They know I’m right, so they have to use the race card.”
She ended her post: “Deport them all. Why are they working at the first point of entry to the UK?! What must tourists think…”
The post has been viewed over 1.5 million times and attracted thousands of replies, many of which condemned White’s views.
One user responded: “This is completely fabricated. Yes, a lot of staff at Heathrow are of Asian descent, that’s partly because of where it is situated.
“They all speak English. All of them. Quit making stuff up. BTW, they’re incredibly helpful and friendly too. Unlike you.”
Another person asked: “So they told you correctly, in English, that you’re being racist?”
A third added: “They don’t speak ‘a word of English’ but understood you perfectly and were able to denounce you as a racist in English?”
Several users highlighted the inconsistency of White’s account, while mocking the logic of her argument.
One user wrote: “They speak British English so you may have mistakenly thought that they don’t speak your English.”

Others pushed back on the idea that English identity is tied to skin colour or ethnicity.
A comment read:
“You are being racist. However, I’ll take a bet on this being under the list of (things that never happened).”
Another echoed the criticism: “So they told you correctly, in English, that you’re being racist?”
Despite the backlash, some users supported White’s comments, as one said:
“I hate to agree with you! Landed in Heathrow last week! It was an absolute nightmare.”
Another wrote: “Last time I went through Heathrow, it was over two hours before I met an English person.
“Everyone at the airport was either South Asian or African. The Uber driver was Romanian.”
