Amidst the anticipation surrounding the release of his upcoming film Maidaan, Boney Kapoor took a moment to shed light on his daughter Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic life.
During a recent interview, Boney Kapoor openly discussed Janhvi’s rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya.
He expressed his affection and gratitude towards him.
Boney Kapoor stated: “I love him (Shikhar) and, in fact, in between a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him.
“I was convinced he could never be an ex.”
Boney’s warm remarks appeared to confirm that Janhvi and Shikhar are together.
The veteran producer continued:
“He’ll be around.
“When any person is there for you in any capacity, whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all.
“So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set-up.”
Boney’s words underscored Shikhar’s unwavering support and commitment to Janhvi and their family.
While Janhvi Kapoor has yet to officially confirm her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya, their public outings together have sparked speculation among fans and media alike.
Notably, the rumoured couple recently attended Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor’s birthday celebration, further fuelling rumours of their romance.

Janhvi Kapoor’s comments on Koffee With Karan 8 also indicated that she is dating Shikhar.
Karan Johar had asked: “You have had an interesting path of love, you were dating Shikhar, and then you dated someone else and now you are dating Shikhar again. True or false.”
Janhvi Kapoor replied: “I won’t say that but I will say this, he is, not just for me, but for her (Khushi), for dad and everyone in our family, he has been there from the start as a friend.
“Not in a way that made me feel like he is expecting anything or he is a pushover or any of those things.”
“He was just there in a very selfless dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being there for another human being.”
She added that Shikhar is one person she has on speed dial.
