The football legend attended the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-final on November 15, 2023.
The exciting match saw India play against New Zealand, with India winning by 70 runs.
During the match, Beckham sat in between Bollywood star Kiara Advani and her husband Sidharth Malhotra.
Outside of the cheer and sportsmanship of the cricket pitch, David Beckham was welcomed to India with gusto and enthusiasm.
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and her husband Anand Ahuja held a massive party at their home in Beckham’s honour.
During the bash, the sports star rubbed shoulders with many of Bollywood’s famous faces.
Usually, Bollywood stars are used to making their fans wide-eyed with autographs and selfies, but here, the tables were turned.
Many Indian film stars took to their social media stars to share glimpses of their rendezvous with Beckham.
Arjun Kapoor shared a picture with Beckham on his Instagram profile.
Captioning the post, Arjun wrote:

In November 2023, Virat Kohli broke the record for scoring the most runs in an ODI World Cup campaign.
Kohli hurtled past Sachin Tendulkar’s 20-year record of 673 runs.
Before the semi-final match, Kohli met Beckham and Tendulkar, and the three sporting legends enjoyed a brief kickabout together.
Speaking about the visit, Beckham said:
“The energy and innovation I have seen here has been so inspiring.”
Beckham’s visit to India correlated with his role as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.
He has been in the position since 2005.
