Spotify rolled out Wrapped 2025 and in India, Arijit Singh dominates the country’s music habits once again.
According to the music streaming service, Singh was the most-streamed artist for the seventh year in a row, followed by Pritam and Shreya Ghoshal.
Arijit Singh enjoyed a successful 2025, which included collaborating with Ed Sheeran and becoming the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium, performing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The year has also revealed India’s love for romantic music, with several songs dominating Spotify India’s charts.
When it comes to the most-streamed song, ‘Raanjhan’ from Do Patti topped the ranks.
Composed by Sachet-Parampara, the song amassed over 246 million streams.

Saiyaara by Tanishk Bagchi topped the albums chart, followed by Aashiqui 2 by Mithoon, which retained its second-place spot for the second year in a row.
I-Pop had a strong 2025, with five of the top 10 most-streamed tracks being I-Pop. Hits came from the likes of Kushagra, Aditya Rikhari, Faheem Abdullah, Anuv Jain, and Jasleen Royal.
I-Pop refers to pop music produced in India that is independent from film soundtracks.
Other top tracks came from Bhediya and Guru, while another was from the web series Mismatched.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 retains familiar features while introducing new ways to showcase listening habits.
One of the new features for this year is Listening Age, which looks at the release years of the songs you play the most and determines your “age”.
Wrapped Clubs places you into one of six listening styles, such as the Soft Hearts Club or Club Serotonin. You will also get a role in your club based on how closely your listening matches that group.
