Areej Chaudhary recently exposed the truth about drug parties in the industry.

On Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, she revealed that drug use has become alarmingly prevalent.

She stated: “Drug culture is quite common in the industry nowadays.”

Areej expressed her concern that many individuals feel pressured to use drugs to fit in socially.

Reflecting on her experiences, she described attending parties where drug use was rampant, noting that those who abstained often felt unwelcome.

The actress explained: “In these gatherings, I feel pressured as people made it clear that those who abstain from drug use are unwelcome.”

Despite the pressure, she emphasised her commitment to her values, stating that she prefers to leave such environments rather than compromise herself.

In addition to discussing drug culture, Areej Chaudhary addressed on-screen intimacy.

She conveyed her willingness to perform intimate scenes if they fit the storyline, asserting:

“I can do an onscreen kiss if it served the storyline. I will not feel shy if it will be necessary for the role.”

This transparency reflects her approach to acting and her readiness to tackle challenging and controversial roles.

Areej has been in the spotlight following the success of her dramas Tark E Wafa and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

In another recent interview, she also shared her experiences with love and heartbreak.

“Yes, I had been in love – it is a pure feeling but it has the capacity to damage yourself.”

The actress talked about the sacrifices that love often demands. She recounted a particularly painful experience, saying:

“I was on a deathbed for a year just because of this heartbreak.”

Areej recounted a moment during her pilgrimage to Umrah when she found herself overwhelmed upon seeing her ex-boyfriend’s number in her contact list.

She admitted: “I started crying and cursed him.”

She even consulted her mother, who remarked that the person being cursed in Makkah is indeed “an unlucky person.”

As a new entrant in the industry, Areej is making significant strides with her role as Natasha in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.

She is not just an actress, but she is also a former ‘Miss Pakistan’ and has represented the country in various beauty pageants.
