Ananya Panday decked up in a stunning rustic bustier top and thigh-high slit skirt and posed for pictures that she shared on Instagram.
On January 6, 2022, the Pati Patni Aur Woh actress shared her latest outfit with her 20.7 million Instagram followers.
The pictures instantly went viral and have since amassed over 430,000 likes and 3,000 comments.
In the photoshoot, Ananya can be seen wearing a rustic coloured bustier corset-style bodysuit and a thigh-high slit skirt.
The skirt has a ribbed texture and perfectly hugs Ananya’s toned figure.
Ananya shared the pictures of her edgy outfit and captioned her post:
“New year, new me?”
Whilst her outfit took centre stage in the photoshoot, social media users couldn’t ignore her new hairstyle.
The actress surprisingly departed from her signature sleek, dark hair.
Ananya was seen sporting a new hairdo with a tousled fringe and caramel-blonde highlights.
However, it is unclear if her fringe was cut or styled from longer tresses.
Seeing her new look, Ananya’s close friends were impressed and left praise for the actress.
Suhana Khan liked the pictures and commented: “Sexy”.
She followed up her comment with a fire emoji.
Rakul Preet Singh, Tania Shroff, Deanne Panday, Sanjay Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar also loved Ananya’s new look.
Ananya completed her outfit with a pair of tanned and black knee-high boots.
On the work front, Ananya has been the talk of the town since the new release date of her upcoming film Gehraiyaan was shared.
Ananya will be seen in the complex relationship drama alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
The film also stars Rajat Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles.
Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram handle on January 5, 2022, to share the new posters for the film.
Directed by Shakun Batra, the film was initially meant to release on January 25, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video.
However, the release date has now been pushed to February 11, 2022.
The film is a relationship drama that dives into the “depths of complex modern relationships, adulting, letting go and taking control of ones’ life path”.
Ananya will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan opposite Siddhant.
Apart from Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya is also gearing up for the release of Liger.
Ananya Panday will be seen in Liger with Vijay Deverakonda.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Dharma Productions, Liger is set to hit the screens on August 23, 2022.
