Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth got married at a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana.

The acting couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family in attendance.

Typically, Bollywood weddings are lavish and full of grandeur but Aditi and Siddharth decided to opt for simplicity.

For the wedding, Aditi wore a golden half-saree by Sabyasachi, which she paired with a striped blouse.

She completed her look with traditional gold jewellery.

Instead of mehendi, Aditi chose red alta – with handpainted half moons on her feet and the back of her hands.

Unlike other brides, Aditi also ditched nail polish, keeping her bridal look natural.

Meanwhile, Siddharth teamed a white kurta with a matching dhoti.

The couple shared pictures from their intimate wedding.

One picture showed them flaunting their wedding rings.

While Siddharth had a gold band, Aditi’s ring featured a round-cut diamond and a pear-cut diamond sitting perfectly on a gold band.

The post was captioned: “You are my Sun, my Moon, and all my Stars.

“To being Pixie Soulmates for eternity…to laughter, to never growing up.

“To Eternal Love, Light & Magic. Mrs & Mr Adu-Siddhu.”

Earlier in 2024, Aditi Rao Hydari explained why she was getting married in a 400-year-old temple.

She said:

“The wedding will be centred around a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy that is of significance to my family.”

The couple met in 2021 on the set of the Telugu film Maha Samudram.

Detailing the proposal Siddharth had planned for her, Aditi shared:

“I was closest to my nani, who passed away a few years ago. She started a school in Hyderabad. One day, Siddarth asked me if he could see it, knowing full well how close I had been to her.”

When they visited the school, Siddharth asked Aditi to show him a special location close to her heart – a floor above the nursery section.

She continued: “He got down on his knee and I asked him, ‘Now what have you lost? Whose shoelaces are open?’

He kept saying, ‘Addu, listen to me’. And then he proposed.

“He said he wanted to bring me to my favourite childhood place, one with my grandmother’s blessings.”

Their engagement took their fans by surprise.
