My Mother’s Scribe (2020) is a collection of poetry by Rafiq Kathwari. Saira Wasim gracefully painted the cover of the book.

“The book talks about her paranoia, psychosis, and her aspiration for the orphans of Kashmir – the world’s most militarised place.”
“700,000 jackboots have been afforded immunity even for rape which has created a massive mental health crisis for eight million Kashmiris.
“Together, mother and son limb an intriguing journey from the snow-capped Himalayas to the terraced lawns of the Hebrew Home.”

“Men rarely look out for their best interests when they are handing down laws that are supposed to impact men and women equally.”
