During her journey, she becomes a renowned courtesan and poet. 

However, her biggest test is yet to come when she returns home to a family who does not accept her.

As Sultan, Imran is charming and charismatic, proving his acting chops.

While the series is a classic, it was criticised for being too bold. Imran refutes this allegation:

“We didn’t glorify the image of a prostitute but depicted the grandeur of that classic character. 

“The character of a prostitute cannot be erased from our society. I am proud to be a part of such a brave team.”

Sarkar Sahab (2007)

Filled with twists and turns, Sarkar Sahab shows Imran as a romantic and strong character.

The series comprises 29 episodes and was broadcast on ARY TV.

However, Noor senses Murash’s disinterest and urges him to marry his true love, Alvina (Tooba Siddiqui).

Dil-e-Muztar (2013)

Alvida (2015)

Haya is devastated by this, and she enlists the help of Farisa (Sarah Khan) to sabotage Hadi and Uroosa’s wedding. 

However, although the wedding goes ahead, tragedy is in store for Hadi and Uroosa. 

More cogs are thrown in the works when the suave Rameez Ahmed (Zahid Ahmed) enters Haya’s life.

For Alvida, Imran and Sanam jointly won ‘Best Popular Onscreen Couple’ at the 4th Hum Awards in 2016.

This suggests the popularity of Alvida which showcases a splendid performance from Imran.

Yaar-e-Bewafa (2017)

His wife is Fiza Zayd (Arij Fatyma). Fiza’s family disapprove of Zayd due to his lower class.

The situation is more curious due to the arrival of Amna Salim (Sarah Khan), who is married to Salim Munawwar (Saleem Mairaj).

What makes Yaar-e-Bawafa a larger triumph for Imran is the fact that Imran composed and sang the soundtrack of the series.

A review of the drama praises Yaar-e-Bewafa:
