Every day we hear on the grapevine that surfaces in B-town. It may either be genuine or spice things up by the press.

Of course, we do not know the full reality behind such rumours. If nothing, it sure keeps us entertained.

Sridevi

A child artist, born talent and stupendous beauty, it seems as if late Sridevi was the industry’s child.

At the tender age of four, acting came to her naturally. There has been no looking back since then.

In numerous interviews, husband Boney Kapoor has been all praises for her un-faltered and boundless talent.

Dropping off education at a young age made her averse to noise and gatherings.

Unlike other Bollywood actresses who sought attention at all times, Sridevi, primarily, had always been an extreme introvert.

She has been part of innumerable controversies not just due to her affairs but also due to her marriage with Boney Kapoor.

The stunning actress had an untimely death on February 24, 2018, in Dubai.

Jeetendra

Jeetendra had requested director K Raghavendra Rao to cast Sridevi in Himmatwala (1983). Sridevi, who was a Jeetendra fan, was excited about this assignment after signing.

As the film was a super hit, the bruit of their affair had become very commonly known.

However, things soon came to an end when the wife of Jeetendra, Shobha Kapoor and daughter Ekta Kapoor confronted Sridevi with the matter.

Though she always gave due credit to Jeetendra for introducing her to the Hindi film industry, this incident certainly built a gap between the two.

Mithun Chakraborty

While shooting for the film Jaag Utha Insaan (1984), Mithun Chakraborty who was already the husband of Yogeeta Bali did not think twice before romantically indulging with Sridevi.

Sridevi, too, carried her heart on her sleeves. She was head over heels in love. To prove her love to Mithun, she went ahead and tied a rakhi to Boney Kapoor.

The two secretly got married in 1985 while Mithun was still married. Presumably, Mithun lied to Sridevi that he had divorced Yogeeta.

On cognisance of the fact, Sridevi was shattered. She decided to annul the marriage by filing for a divorce in 1988.

Mithun got back to his wife and Sridevi found comfort in the arms of Boney Kapoor.

Boney Kapoor

Addressed as the ‘home breaker’, Sridevi was lucky in love but with the wrath of many.

When Boney Kapoor saw her on-screen in a Tamil movie, Boney was smitten by Sridevi at the very first sight. He decided that he wanted to cast her in his movies.

From casting her in Mr India (1987) at a much higher price and then making a trip to Switzerland just to see her, Boney Kapoor made all efforts in swooning the fabulous artist.

He always stood by her like a rock. That is how he got her love in reciprocation.

While he was married to his first wife with two kids, the news of Sridevi becoming pregnant spread like wildfire. She was six months pregnant with Jhanvi Kapoor.

The duo got married in 1996. They had completed twenty-one years of their marriage when she took her final breath in Dubai.

Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit – The name is enough. Blessed with an infectious smile and impeccable acting skills, this beautiful lady is a graceful dancer too.

Being a dance enthusiast since the age of three, she is a trained Kathak dancer.

The ‘Ek do Teen’ (Tezaab: 1988) diva has swooned not just her audiences, but her co-stars as well. Thus, grabbing the limelight.

Happily married to a US-based cardiovascular surgeon since 1999, this Bollywood actress was linked up with leading men in the industry. None of which have been accepted in open.

Sanjay Dutt

After working in various films like Thanedaar (1990) Saajan (1991) and Khalnayak (1993), Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri became fond of each other.

If rumours are to be believed, they were serious about getting married. This was despite Dutt being a married man.

The relationship took a nasty turn after Dutt was linked with Mumbai’s serial blast case and was arrested in 1993.

Post involvement in such as serious case, this relation became history.

Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor and Madhuri shared a sizzling chemistry on screen. After having done several films together, speculation about their affair was doing the rounds.

Based on a few reports, the duo spent a lot of time with each other on sets until one day when Anil’s wife, Sunita visited him during shooting with their kids.

Seeing Anil interact with his family, Madhuri decided not to pair up with Anil Kapoor – not just for real but reel too. This was to avoid any unnecessary drama.

On being questioned about their relationship by a leading newspaper, Madhuri had said:

“No! I wouldn’t marry someone like him. For one thing, he is too hypersensitive, I would like my husband to be cool.”

It appears that Anil Kapoor was not her cup of tea.

Ajay Jadeja

The ‘Dhak Dhak‘ (Beta: 1992) girl met cricketer Ajay Jadeja at a magazine shoot. She was highly impressed by him in the very first meeting.

Head over heels in love, she even recommended few directors to sign Jadeja for movies.

Madhuri was disheartened when she became aware of the match-fixing debacle that Jadeja was tangled in.

The match-fixing saga eventually ended their relationship.

Dr Shriram Madhav Nene

Usually, when top-notch Bollywood actresses decide to tie a knot, they normally break many hearts.

Something similar happened when Madhuri got married. The wedding was fixed by parents from both sides. It was a private ceremony in the United States.

Surprisingly, Dr Shriram Madhav Nene was unaware of his fiance’s stardom until they got engaged. Madhuri always wanted her to-be husband to love her for who she was and not her stardom.

The couple stayed in the USA for twelve years before moving back to Mumbai.

Madhuri keeps herself busy in the television industry whereas Dr Nene is serving in a municipal hospital.

Sunny Deol

The first movie together of Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh, Betaab was as hit as their pairing. The couple bonded not just on-screen but off-screen too.

Ravi Shastri

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar was popular for his casanova image amongst the ladies. Shilpa Shetty was one of them.

Akshay and Shilpa started romancing during the shoot of Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994).

Akshay allegedly began a relationship with Twinkle Khanna (now his wife) while he was dating Shilpa. Both Shilpa and Twinkle were best of friends.

According to a news report, Ratna Sinha, wife of director Anubhav Sinha bashed him by outrightly giving an interview against the rumoured ‘good friends’ who got close while shooting for Dus (2005).

Based on a report published in the Mirror UK, Shilpa confessed to a friend that she was in love with Anubhav Sinha – a married man, with two kids.

Shilpa’s parents were in disapproval due to the social stigma of being with a married man. Hence, she chose to walk out.

However, in response to the same, Anubhav had asked Shilpa to abstain from commenting on his married life and stay away.

Raj Kundra

Raj Kundra was amongst the richest businessmen in Britain. After a failed relationship with his first wife, he went through a disturbing divorce.

Initially, Raj and Shilpa got acquainted while promoting for Shilpa’s perfume brand S2. Their interactions were solely restricted to business.

They often say, ‘Out of sight is out of mind.’ That is apparently why Urmila kept her marriage to Mohsin Akhtar Mir a low-key affair.

Mohsin is from a business family that hails from Kashmir. During his younger days, he came to Mumbai, trying his hand at modelling.

The common link between the two happens to be eminent designer Manish Malhotra.

Rajiv Mulchandani

Rajiv Mulchandani got close to Aishwarya during their initial days of modelling. The duo even did photo-shoots together.

The gullible and honest actress tried her luck in a Telugu musical drama, Jhummandi Naadam (2010). This was when she was preparing for her MBA entrance exam. It clicked and how!

Taking every experience with a pinch of salt, Taapsee is a strong individual. She always has the determination to move on and find the next best thing that’s meant for her.

Shedding light on relationships, the impulsive actress mentions:

“I have dated a South Indian. Also, I have never dated a star and will never date one and that I can write and give you on a stamp paper.

Mahat Raghavendra

Taapsee started her career in the Telugu film industry where she met the Tamil actor, Mahat Raghavendra.

Reportedly, Mahat used to frequently show up at sets to spend time with her. Mahat confirming this describes himself as “Taapsee’s-ex.”

Divulging further, he said that they had dated for two years.

Mathias Boe

A badminton ace and gold medalist from the European Games in 2015, Mathias Boe belongs to Denmark. In 2012, at the Summer Olympics, he also won a silver medal.

Mathias and Taapsee met during 2014 during the opening of a badminton tournament in India. Whilst Taapsee was a brand ambassador of a team, Mathias was a player for another side.

Mathias happens to be a friend of Shagun Pannu, Taapsee’s sister.

Gaurav Arora

Kriti and Gaurav met during their modelling days. It was then that they became ‘good friends.’

An interview with Arora revealed that they are both busy in their respective lives and not in touch anymore.

In 2016, Gaurav opened up, dismissing the rumours, and claiming that they were hurtful.

He believes that the two modelling together resulted in the link-up. It certainly seems that the huge amount of speculation was very bothersome for Gaurav.

Parth Samthaan

The TV celebrity, Parth Samthaan is famous for his role in the television series Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan (2014-2018).

He was a household name when he got into a relationship with Disha. She was a struggling model in those days.

Within a year of their relationship, reportedly Disha understood about Parth’s fling with Vikas Gupta of Bigg Boss 11 (2017-2018) fame.

She found intimate pictures of the two. That is where the relationship came to a closure.

Tiger Shroff

The allegedly romantic couple of Tiger Shroff and Disha was first seen together in the video for the song ‘Befikra’ (2016). Their next assignment was for the movie Baaghi 2 (2018).
