This love story is no less than a film in itself. Nargis and Sunil Dutt met on the sets of Do Bigha Zameen (1953) during the mid-1950s.

For Dutt, it was love at first sight.

Sunil Dutt had just begun his career, while Nargis was a well-known name. Thus, he couldn’t garner enough courage to express his feelings.

As filmy as it gets, Nargis got trapped in a pile of fire while shooting for one of their popular movies.
