"Thanks to my incredibly well-made shoes.”
Former One Direction star Zayn had a narrow escape involving an incident with a car at the Paris Fashion Week where he appeared in Kenzo’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 menswear show.
A video went viral on social media which showed the former One Direction heartthrob passing through a crowd and narrowly escaping a collision with a car.
The clip shows the car slightly running over Zayn’s foot and despite the minor injury, the ‘Love Like This’ singer continued his journey seemingly unaffected by the mishap.
After witnessing the incident, concerned fans showed their concern and rushed to ask if Zayn was okay.
Zayn took to Instagram to reassure his fans that he was fine and it was all down to his shoes.
Zayn shared several photos on the social media platform, one of which was a selfie showing off his neck tattoos, and the other was a close-up of his trainers that bore the brunt of the car.
He captioned the post: “Thanks for a great show! My foot is fine! Thanks to my incredibly well-made shoes.”
Zayn ended the post with an emoji that shared tears of joy followed by a thumbs-up.
The image of his shoe shows Zayn’s white trainers with dark-coloured skid marks as a result of the car.
Fans of Zayn commented on the post where some jokingly asked if he needed his shoes cleaned and others asked who they needed to speak to for hurting him.
One comment read: “I was so worried. May Allah protect you.”
Another said:
“Thank God, I was worried about your toes man.”
A third wrote: “I’m on the way to puncture that car and the driver, how dare they hurt my baby!”

Making his appreciation clear for his fans, Zayn wrote a little caption in which he acknowledged his fans and said:
“Just want to make something clear.
