Netflix has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated second season of its hit series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein.
After leaving viewers on a gripping cliffhanger, the streaming giant revealed that the new season will premiere on November 22, 2024.
The announcement was made on October 28, 2024, alongside an eye-catching poster featuring the returning main cast.
This includes Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anchal Singh, and Shweta Tripathi, as well as the new addition, Gurmeet Choudhary.
It centres on Vikrant (Tahir) who is relentlessly pursued by Purva (Anchal), a politician’s daughter who will do anything to make him hers.
This sends him down a risky path to reclaim his life.
The first season, which debuted in 2022, concluded with a dramatic twist.
Purva’s kidnapping and the ransom demands thrust Vikrant into a predicament, shattering his hopes of a peaceful life with his love Shikha (Shweta).
Season 2 promises to delve deeper into Vikrant’s harrowing journey as he attempts to break free from Purva’s menacing grip.
Sidharth Sengupta, the creator and director behind Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, shared insights into the upcoming season:
“Season 1’s intense love triangle between Vikrant, Purva, and Shikha now evolves into an extraordinary love quad in Season 2.”
He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to the first season and hinted at an even more thrilling narrative.
He emphasised the excitement added by the inclusion of Gurmeet Choudhary, saying:
“The response to the first season’s obsessive love story, music, and masala was overwhelming.
“This time, we’re diving even deeper into each character’s grey tones, amping up the wild twists and unexpected turns.
“The new cast adds even more excitement, and I can’t wait to see how fans react to this season’s unpredictable ride.
“Netflix has always been a great creative partner and working on Season 2 established that even further.”
Fans can expect a thrilling love triangle.
However, the pressing question remains: Will Vikrant and Shikha finally have their happily ever after, or will Purva’s obsession continue to keep them apart?

In addition to the lead cast, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 will feature a talented ensemble.
This includes Saurabh Shukla, Varun Badola, Brijendra Kala, Arunoday Singh, Surya Sharma, Anant Joshi, Sunita Rajwar, Shashi Verma, Anjuman Saxena, and Hetal Gada.
Gurmeet Choudhary’s inclusion has sparked curiosity among fans, who are eager to see how his character will influence Vikrant’s quest for freedom.
