"We want to welcome people into our home"
Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan are giving a lucky fan the chance to spend two nights at their home in Delhi, in the city’s Panchsheel Park.

Interior designer, Gauri Khan will be making this dream a reality as she offers people this chance. In fact, Gauri and SRK grew up and fell in love in Delhi.
The couple has partnered up with accommodation provider Airbnb for this special contest.
To be in with a chance to win, contestants must share what an ‘Open Arms Welcome’ means to them by November 30, 2020.
The most creative entry will win allowing them to stay in SRK’s Delhi home on February 13 and 14, 2021.
Known as the King of Romance in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has popularised his open arms pose.
He has posed with open arms in all of his memorable romantic blockbusters.
Speaking to Gulf News about the contest, Gauri Khan said:
“This home is a reflection of our journey, as a couple and a family and is filled with personal keepsakes from our life over the last three decades.”
The home includes numerous family photos, Gauri’s aesthetic designs and more.
Gauri revealed what promopted the pair to open the doors to their Delhi home for guest. She explained:
“Our family loves hosting people at home and we feel that it is truly the best way to welcome and bond with loved ones.
“In fact, whenever we host people, I personally look into every aspect of their stay to ensure that our guests feel (like they belong).
“One of the central aspects of staying at an Airbnb that has always fascinated me is the role that the hosts play.”
Revealing how they came up with the idea for this contest, Gauri said:
“The idea to open our Delhi home came after a trip to LA with the entire family – we had stayed at an Airbnb and had a fantastic experience.
“It was then that we decided that we want to welcome people into our home too and give them a memorable experience as hosts.”
Asked whether the pair would consider opening their mansion in Dubai to Airbnb, Gauri Khan said:
“Welcoming people into our Delhi home is a first for us and it has been a very exciting journey so far.
“If the opportunity comes up, we might explore hosting at our Dubai home too. I strongly believe in the philosophy of ‘never say never!’”
