Will Naga Chaitanya work with Ex-Wife Samantha Again?

Naga Chaitanya has responded to the questions about whether he would work with his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu again.

The pair married in 2017 but just a few days before their fourth anniversary in 2021, they announced their separation, leaving their fans devastated.

Samantha spoke about their split on Koffee With Karan.

However, Naga has remained quiet on the matter, stating that he would prefer for his professional life to be the subject of discussion.

Prior to their split, Naga and Samantha had worked together on several films.

Naga has now opened up on whether he would work with her again.

He revealed: “That’s going to be a crazy one if it happens.

“But I don’t know, only the universe knows. Let’s see.”

Speaking about the separation, Naga said:

“Whatever both of us wanted to say, we both put out a statement regarding that.

“That’s what I have always done with my personal life anyway. Things that I feel are crucial to be shared and put out, I do inform the media about it, whether it’s good or bad.

“I come out, tell people about it through a statement and that’s it.

“In our case, Samantha has moved on, I’ve moved on and I don’t feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that.”

Naga Chaitanya previously expressed his annoyance over his personal life still being discussed.

He said: “I don’t want my personal life to be the topic of discussion. We all have a personal space and there’s a reason why it’s called ‘personal’.”

On Karan Johar’s talk show, Samantha revealed that the situation between her and Naga was far from good.

She said:

“Like if you put us both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects? Yeah. As of now, yes.”

On how she is doing now, Samantha said:

“It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.”

In their joint statement, they said: “To all our well-wishers.

“After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths.

“We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us.

“We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during the difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on.
