the video was "sent to me anonymously"
A TikToker who posted a video of a pro-Palestine mice stunt at a McDonald’s restaurant has broken his silence on whether he is responsible.
A video showing dozens of red, white, green and black-painted mice being let loose at the restaurant in Birmingham’s Star City entertainment complex went viral.
In the clip, a man wearing a Palestinian flag around his head is seen lifting a box out of the boot of a BMW carrying a number plate spelling ‘PAIISTN’.
He then walks into the busy restaurant and dumps the spray-painted mice on the floor – causing customers standing near the food order screens to run away in shock.
The man is heard repeatedly shouting “free f***ing Palestine” as he returns to his car, later adding “boycott Israel” and “f*** Israel” before driving off.
Former limousine hire company worker and convicted fraudster Aamir Khan said he had been sent the clip of the incident but denied being responsible for the stunt.
He said the video was “sent to me anonymously so I don’t know who did it”.
Mr Khan’s Tiktok and Instagram accounts – where friends congratulated him on the stunt – have now been deleted and police have launched an investigation.
Mr Khan’s Instagram page contained pictures of him posing on the driveway of what was once his family home in Moseley, Birmingham.
Neighbours said the address has been turned into a house of multiple occupancy but was still within the Khan family.
Land Registry documents show it was bought by an individual named Basharaf Khan in March 2023.
One neighbour said Aamir still visited regularly, adding:
“I saw him go off with friends recently in a blue Range Rover.”
Another noticed a Palestinian flag in the property’s porch just a few days ago while a tenant at the address said she believed he kept a first-floor flat there.
Occupants at the property also recognised pictures of Mr Khan, with one tenant saying:
“His name is Aamir and he is the owner. He comes around in the evenings sometimes.”
A Vauxhall Corsa allegedly belonging to Mr Khan was amongst the vehicles parked in the gated driveway this afternoon.
Neighbours at another address linked to the Khan family said Aamir sometimes “turned up at the wheel of a supercar” to visit the occupants.

It was also suggested that he worked at Royal Limos.
However, a man at the limo company claimed Mr Khan left the firm in 2019.
The man denied being responsible for the McDonald’s incident.
His brother Zahid, who fled to Dubai before the £500,000 number plate scam case came to an end, said his brother only reposted the video.
West Midlands Police are treating the McDonald’s incident as a “public nuisance offence”.
In a statement, the force added:
“We understand the distress this will have caused and it’s not acceptable in any circumstances… we’ve active lines on enquiries to identify, and then arrest, who was involved.”
The McDonald’s branch was “fully sanitised” after the mice were removed and has now reopened.
The incident is part of wider calls to boycott McDonald’s for allegedly favouring Israel during the ongoing conflict.
Two other McDonald’s branches in Birmingham have since been hit by the same stunt – in Small Heath and Perry Bar.
