McDonald’s has long been one of the world’s most popular fast food chains.
Meanwhile, Bollywood also transcends international borders.
A video recently circulated showing a man appearing to sing his order at a McDonald’s drive-thru in the US.
The man, named Shekhar on TikTok, hummed his order to the tune of ‘Bole Chudiyan‘ from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001).
He sang in Hindi: “Aloo Tikki…and McVeggie…and give a paneer patty along with it!
“Chicken burger…chicken patty…and masala fries.
“Take my money.”
Humorously, the dishes the man ordered were not available on the US McDonald’s menu.
The voice at the drive-thru replied: “What do you need?”
Shekhar responded: “A McVeggie and an Aloo Tikki sandwich? No?”
The voice answered: “No.”

The clip attracted funny responses from users.
One of them said: “Bro, I forgot the real lyrics listening to this!”
Another person commented: “OMG, I thought you were in India!”
A third user wrote: “You won’t get that in McDonald’s!”
A similar clip recently released in which Shekhar sang his order at a Taco Bell drive-thru.
However, this time, he sang it to the melody of ‘Tum Hi Ho‘ from Aashiqui 2 (2013).
He ordered items including a soft taco, a bean burrito, and nachos.
Shekhar also asked for chicken in his quesadillas in the clip.
The employee stammered: “Uhhhh…”

Another commented: “I so wanted to hear her reaction.”

Shekhar replied: “She was so confused, but laughed.”
Meanwhile, Shekhar’s TikTok account is filled with comedic clips in which he combines Bollywood songs with everyday situations.
These include singing Bollywood songs to Americans in public, having conversations using Bollywood music, and singing Indian songs to girls.
Meanwhile, the US McDonald’s chain recently announced an expansion of its late-night hours at a majority of its locations across the country.
In a statement, McDonald’s said: “Our fans know there’s no better way to end an unforgettable night than by feasting on your favourite McDonald’s order.
“That’s why, as the summer season kicks off, we’re excited to offer up more ways for customers to satisfy their late-night cravings with more choices and expanded hours at more restaurants.”
The popular eatery subsequently plans to employ 375,000 new employees over the summer period of 2025.
