    The Virat Kohli Foundation hopes to build up empowerment for those in need of help.

    The Virat Kohli Foundation have announced a new fundraising gala will take place to help the underprivileged in India. Named as the Virat Kohli Charity Ball, it will become one of the biggest charity sports events of 2017.

    The Virat Kohli Charity Ball will be the organisation’s first international gala.

    Taking place on 5th June 2017, it will reside in the HAC Ground in London. Located in the capital’s centre, this iconic venue acts as home to the Honourable Artillery Company.

    Hailing as a prime venue for events, they will undoubtedly create a luxurious setting for the Virat Kohli Charity Ball.

    The foundation, headed by India’s most famous cricketer, aims to support those who are impoverished in India. On 5th June, the gala will help raise funds for various charities, who seek to help India’s underprivileged.



    The Virat Kohli Foundation hopes to build up empowerment for those in need of help, creating better lives for them. In the past, they have worked on multiple events and fundraisers, all for raising awareness and making progress.

    A Night to Remember

    During the event, guests will receive a VIP champagne reception, setting the appropriate tone for a star-studded night. Expect to find famous faces attend the Virat Kohli Charity Ball from the world of cricketing.

    As the gala takes place during the ICC Champions Tournament in the UK, you may have a chance to see members of Team India.

    Both past and present names of cricketing will also attend, as well as well-known personalities. The night will even contain surprise appearances, meaning this charity ball is simply unmissable.

    The funds for the live auction will go straight towards charities who support India’s underprivileged. The cricketer appeared proud of the upcoming gala, saying:

    “I am honoured and excited that London will be the first international city to host my Foundation’s Charity Ball, in aid of the charitable causes that I hold dear to my heart.

    “The event is a manifestation of my dream to bring about a transformative change in many lives by supporting the underprivileged sections of society. I look forward to joining hands with the public in London to raise a substantial amount.”
