Sidemen’s Vikkstar is set to release his new dance anthem ‘Another Way’ but this time under the British record label NoCopyrightSounds (NCS).
The YouTuber has turned to music creation in recent years, with numerous Electronic Dance Music (EDM) tracks created by him.
Vikkstar, whose real name is Vikram Barn, has worked with renowned DJs like Alan Walker and Nicky Romero.
He is now working with NCS, a record label he has fond memories of.
NCS is a British record label that releases royalty-free electronic dance music.
NCS has allowed many YouTubers, like Vikkstar, to use its music in their videos without the risk of copyright breaches.
In his announcement, Vikkstar said:
“Hey NCS family, I’m Vikkstar and I’m going to release my first single on NCS called ‘Another Way’.
“This is exciting for me because over 10 years ago, I used to go to NCS to buy music for my gaming videos.
“Now a decade later, I have my own music releasing with them, I’m really excited for you all to hear it.”
Sharing a snippet of the track, ‘Another Way’ is an “uplifting house anthem filled with emotional chords, soaring vocals, and pure feel-good energy”.

In the comments section, fans called the announcement a “full circle moment”.
One wrote: “From using NCS on his vid to become one of their family. What a run by Vik.”
Another said: “Sidemen taking over the music industry soon.”
Praising the internet personality’s side ventures away from YouTube, a third added:
“Bro, Vik is just completing side quest upon side quest at this point and I’m all here for it.”
As one of the founding members of the Sidemen, Vikkstar’s YouTube career began with gaming, playing the likes of Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto.
But like other members of the Sidemen, Vikkstar has branched out into other ventures.
While the likes of KSI have entered the boxing world, Vik has built up a budding music career.
As a DJ and music creator, Vik has worked with renowned DJs and has gone on tour.
In October 2024, it was announced that Vikkstar would be the supporting act to Alan Walker’s India tour.
Vik’s first performance was in Pune on October 18.
He then travelled to Mumbai for a DJ set on October 19 before the tour ended on October 20 in Hyderabad.
