In the aftermath of the devastating floods that swept through the country, the industry is tentatively embarking on the path to recovery.
As actors slowly resume their work routines, Sohana offered a candid glimpse into the arduous journey back to normalcy that lies ahead.
Speaking reflectively on the current situation, Sohana Saba said:
“The emotional strain is still there, and it will indeed take considerable time before we can fully regain our footing.
“As artists, we are inherently sensitive.
“Every experience, positive or negative, deeply impacts us. We wholeheartedly embrace joyous moments when they arrive.
“We are currently navigating through a challenging period. The memories of recent events are very vivid, and the emotional scars are still fresh.”
Addressing the potential impact of an impending governmental transition on the entertainment industry of Bangladesh, Sohana remarked:
“There is a collective anticipation of significant changes up ahead. As a result, the industry is on a kind of a hold, with no major new creative projects underway at the moment.”
In response to inquiries about potential constraints imposed on Bangladeshi artists, Sohana Saba clarified:
“Our local government has not imposed any such restrictions. We retain the freedom to work in other countries, including yours.
“Visa issues remain the same as before. However, mentally, we may not be prepared to take that leap yet.”
It is noteworthy that during the devastating floods, Sohana actively engaged with her followers, sharing updates on the situation.
Beyond that, the actress conscientiously disseminated relief helpline numbers and essential precautions to her audience.
