Viewers will also see the new host
Following the success of its first season, Shark Tank India will be returning.
In a teaser trailer, the entrepreneurial-based reality show has revealed some details of its upcoming season.
This includes a new investor on the show, Amit Jain.
Amit Jain, who is the CEO and co-founder of CarDekho Group, has joined the panel of sharks for the second season of the business and reality hybrid show.
The promo shows a woman buying groceries from a cart when she mocks the vegetable seller by saying his whole cart is worth not more than Rs. 70.
The seller then explains his business model with revenue detail and says his business’ valuation is actually Rs. 70 Lakh, much to the bemusement of the woman.
The promo goes on to say that this change has been brought about by Shark Tank India, returning for a second season.

Continuing on from season 1, fans will get to see Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal occupying the Shark Tank investors panel.
Viewers will also see the new host, Rahul Dua.
Rahul is a stand-up comedian and will be replacing Rannvijay Singh. Perhaps viewers can expect to see more humour instead of the typical serious nature of business in Shark Tank India.
Another member of season 1, Ashneer Grover, will also not be returning.
Fans may be disappointed that Ashneer is not coming back to Shark Tank India, given his popularity on the show.
He was known for his blunt and brutal replies to budding entrepreneurs.
Part of the allure of the show for viewers is the relationship between the investors and pitchers of the unique businesses which come on air.
Dubbed India’s Dragons Den, hopeful entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to experienced investors and experts in the hope of getting an investment to get the business up and running.
Season 1 of the show ignited India’s growth in business, changing the way Indians looked at entrepreneurship. Therefore, season 2 is anticipated to carry on encouraging young business-minded entrepreneurs.
Shark Tank India gained massive popularity with commentators on social media, with the first season being widely used as a meme for the dramatic and blunt one-liners by the investor panel.
Shark Tank India season 2 will be available to view on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV in December 2022.
