Dur-e-Fishan Saleem and Feroze Khan have been named the new leads of Sanwal Yaar Piya.
The drama was written by Hashim Nadeem and directed by Wajahat Rauf.
As well as Feroze and Dur-e-Fishan, Ahmed Ali Akbar is also part of the main cast. The latter two have replaced Iqra Aziz and Imran Ashraf.
Reportedly, Iqra Aziz backed out of Sanwal Yaar Piya after domestic abuse allegations against Feroze came to light.

During an appearance on The Talk Talk Show, she elaborated on her reasoning.
Iqra explained that she chose to withdraw from the drama due to personal discomfort working with Feroze Khan.
She said: “I needed to make a decision for my own peace of mind. I did what I felt was right.”
The actress was asked whether she should have waited for a court verdict before making her decision.
She responded: “This was something I needed to do for myself. I wasn’t comfortable, and I made the choice that felt right for me.”
Iqra emphasised that her decision was not based on the legal proceedings or waiting for evidence, but on her personal experience working with Khan.
She added: “I wasn’t waiting for proof. Even before the news broke, I wasn’t comfortable working with him.”
As the drama’s new cast moves forward, Sanwal Yaar Piya has become a talking point for fans and industry insiders alike.
Many have questioned Dur-e-Fishan’s willingness to work with Feroze Khan considering the past allegations.
