Sachin Tendulkar has partnered with OpenAI to show how ChatGPT can be used for everyday tasks, after previously turning to the chatbot to help plan a family trip.
Announcing the partnership, the cricket icon said his curiosity had shaped his experience with the artificial intelligence tool.
He also said he plans to share practical uses he discovers and encourage others to explore ChatGPT through their own interests.
Tendulkar wrote: “I’ve always been curious… One question usually leads to another, and ChatGPT has certainly encouraged that habit.
“But it has also proved useful when I’ve needed to get things done, like planning my last trip with the family.”
Tendulkar said the partnership would give him an opportunity to discover further ways of using ChatGPT and share those experiences with others.
He continued: “That’s what I’m looking forward to with this partnership.
“Discovering what else I can do with ChatGPT, sharing what I find useful, and encouraging more people to give it a try with something they care about.”
Tendulkar encouraged people to start with their own questions and interests, adding:
“A question, an idea, something you’ve always wanted to explore. There are so many places to start.”
He also teased further collaborative projects:
“We have some interesting things coming up, and I can’t wait to share them with you.”
It is reported that the collaboration is a multi-year initiative focused on demonstrating practical uses of ChatGPT and encouraging wider adoption in India.
Sachin Tendulkar also shared a video in which he challenged ChatGPT to identify him in 10 questions or less.

The chatbot correctly worked out his identity within the limit, providing a playful demonstration of its conversational capabilities.
The partnership comes as OpenAI expands its presence in India and explores ways of bringing ChatGPT into everyday use.
OpenAI said in February 2026 that India had more than 100 million weekly ChatGPT users, including students, teachers, developers and entrepreneurs.
OpenAI has also established a separate partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
On September 8, the BCCI announced ChatGPT as an Associate Partner for India’s home cricket for two seasons, beginning with the West Indies series and running through March 2028.
The Sachin Tendulkar partnership therefore adds another connection between ChatGPT and Indian cricket, with the former batter set to document how he uses the technology and what he discovers along the way.
