BAFTA-winning comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan are back, as Rob & Romesh Vs returns on December 9 for series eight.

The show sees the funny men try their hands at various skills and meet celebrities from the worlds of sport, entertainment, fashion, and more.

Series eight promises another hilarious instalment, with the pair taking on challenges around the world that test them to the limit.

The upcoming series will see Rob and Romesh heading to Mumbai with one mission: to break into Bollywood, one of the world’s biggest film industries.

Known for its elaborate dance sequences, the pair will be guided by Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher as they try to earn roles in a blockbuster Bollywood film.

From Mumbai to New York, the duo will explore Romesh’s first love: Hip-Hop.

In the genre’s birthplace, they meet one of Romesh’s heroes, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon, to see if they can conquer Romesh’s biggest Hip-Hop fear: performing in a New York freestyle cypher.

The series also ventures into the Sumatran jungle, where the pair will seek out incredible wildlife and attempt to snap a photograph worthy of entry into the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition at London’s Natural History Museum.

Back in London, Rob and Romesh will turn to theatre as they prepare to perform Romeo & Juliet at the Globe Theatre.

With guidance from the Globe’s Artistic Director, Michelle Terry, and assistance from acclaimed actors Jessie Buckley and Martin Freeman, the duo will put their acting skills to the ultimate test.

The season will conclude with a two-part special, as the pair take on Team GB ahead of the Winter Olympics in early 2026.

Over the past year, they have trained with legends Eddie the Eagle and Eve Muirhead, alongside hopefuls Mia Brookes and Team Mouat.

From bobsled to biathlon, skiing to curling, their global journey takes them from St Moritz in Switzerland to the World Curling Championships in Fredericton, Canada.

Whether navigating Bollywood’s dance floors, the streets of New York, the depths of the Sumatran jungle, or the boards of London’s Globe Theatre, Rob & Romesh Vs continue to prove that no challenge is too big or too hilarious for the comic duo.

For Romesh Ranganathan, he will be making his West End stage debut alongside Sheridan Smith in Alan Ayckbourn’s psychological comedy Woman in Mind.

The play will have a limited run at the Duke of York’s Theatre from December 9 until February 28, 2026.

Sheridan Smith plays Susan, while Romesh will play Bill.
